Dagger Gordon-"Highland Mandolin"
(November 2000 re-release of 1988 recording) 11 tracks
When this album was initially released in 1988, it was the first mandolin album of Scottish music. It remains unique. Dagger has chosen to play a mixture of his own compositions and tunes which he has picked up over the years, whilst touring the Scottish Highlands where he lives.
Dagger is joined by Duncan MacGillivray (tin whistle, tenor guitar), Ian MacBeath (fiddle), Susan Drever (double bass), Dick Clarke (guitar), Katie Harrigan (clarsach) and Malcolm Robertson (low whistle).
